Child Adult Care Food Program Sponsorship

Who we are?

We are a licensed 501(3)c non-profit sponsorship for the State of Texas Department of Agriculture's Child and Adult Care Food Program. Our Director, Mrs. Nguyen K. Nguyen, has over 20 years of experience working with child programs and has been in business as a CACFP sponsor for over 15 years now.  Our goal is to help our home providers and child care facilities understand the importance of child nutrition in the developmental stages of life.

Who can participate?

We are licensed for sponsoring both home providers and childcare facilities. Our goal is to help navigate CACFP guidelines and policies to ensure nutritious meals and snacks are served to all participating children.

So how can we help your facility?

  • Free online software that helps you plan your daily food services 24 hours a day, from any computer with Internet access.
  • Online “Attendance 1535” form developed exclusively by us for you to accurately log     the children being served at each meal
  • One on one Windows training and software training
  • Our “Menu Planner” function accurately displays the required amounts and   measurements for food service

Our goal is to reduce the paperwork required by the CACFP. As a Food Program sponsor, we claim responsibility for proper claim submission of monthly paperwork, child enrollment forms, expense reports and  meal count forms.

Who is eligible for The Food Program?

  • Children age 12 and under
  • Migrant children age 15 and younger
  • Functionally impaired adult participants

What kinds of meals are served?

CACFP facilities follow the meal patterns established by USDA.

Breakfast consists of a serving of milk, fruit or vegetable and grains or bread.

Lunch and Dinner require milk, grains or bread, meat or meat alternate and twodifferent servings of fruits and vegetables.

Snacks include two different servings of the four components: milk, fruits or vegetables, grains or bread or meat or meat alternate.
